Awesome Product!

You know, I’ve been looking for weeks for this item in the stores and haven’t found it, so I am super hyped that it is on Amazon. I primarily use it on my daughter (4 years old). Her skin gets dry and sometimes ashy during the winter. This stuff is perfect for her. It has never irritated her skin and leaves it soft and smooth. She loves it because it leaves a little sparkle on her skin- It makes her feel like a princess! And it’s a superior alternative to regular body lotion. Why? Well, first, you apply it in the shower and rinse it off. This is a bonus for me because while I’m applying it, I’ve already applied the conditioner to her hair and it gives it time to soak in. And let me tell you, for anyone who has ever applied lotion to a child (or yourself)and then expected to put their PJ’s or clothes on them immediately afterward.. you’ve got another thing coming. It’s a hassle to have to have her wait to get dressed while the lotion soaks in. By doing it in the shower- she’s ready to get into her PJ’s as soon as I towel her off! I highly recommend this product over regular body lotion. Suitable for all skin types and ethnicities (my daughter is mixed) I even use it in the winter- and my skin is normally oily. But- as you age, your skin becomes drier.

The bottle sizes are great and i use this product everyday in the shower after lathering and rinsing my body wash off. i have been a fan of this product since it was first launched and given free samples with the quench lotion which is also a winner. i love the shimmers and sparkles and even though i have dark skin it is still visible

Best Stuff EVER!!

I ordered O’Keeffe’s Working Hands and the seller sent a free jar of Healthy Feet. My feet were cracked and my heels were rough enough to tear nylons.

3 nights ago I started applying Healthy Feet after my shower. Tonight being the 4th night, as I sat down to apply it, I noticed my feet were as smooth as a baby’s behind. All Calluses were gone. This is the best and I can’t thank the seller enough for sending it. I will be buying more.

If you have tried other products for your feet, you have to try this. It will work. It is also 100% guranteed to work. They will buy it back if it does not. I have spent a small fortune on lotions and cremes and I am sure many of you have too. Give this a try, you won’t be disappointed.

PLEASE READ UPDATE FROM 11/15/10- 2 STARS NOW!!

To tell you the truth, I didn’t fully believe all of the hype but decided to try this out of sheer desperation. My feet were so dry, cracked and painful from the brutal winter I couldn’t stand it. This cream is absolutely wonderful! After 2 or 3 applications, my feet are like a baby’s but! The BEST part is that this cream has absolutely no irritating scent. It doesn’t seem to have any odor whatsoever! I cannot stand the smell of other foot care products. No matter how pleasant, after awhile, it gets to be too much. I also love the creamy texture, bright blue container and the rubber grip on the top of the jar, so you can screw the lid on tightly with greasy hands. It does leave a little bit of slippery residue behind but that’s to be expected from any decently hydrating moisturizer. I will NEVER buy anything else and I am going to buy the six pack to get the most for my money. Try it…you won’t regret it!

UPDATE: 11/15/10 I just received another order and I am very disappointed. This container is smaller than previous ones. I wish I had saved an old container to compare sizes. And- the cream seems thinner, almost “watered down” compared to previous containers. Also, it is not nearly as effective. Normally, after 1 or 2 applications, I can see a huge difference. I have applied this for 4 or 5 nights and there is SOME improvement, but not nearly like before. Plus, I’ve used 1/2 the container already. At 10 bucks a pop, I don’t think it’s worth it. Shame on you, O’Keefe’s for ruining a good thing!!!

FINALLY found a foot cream that works!

I have very dry feet that constantly crack. I’ve tried many products ranging in price up to $20 and this product “healthy feet” by far is the best I’ve every had.. Including creams used at the nail salon. I read all the reviews raving about this product and the negatives saying it leaves a film… Once you start to use this on your feet you feel it instantly absorb. Even after 1 day, the bottom of my feet looked and felt better. I made the mistake of thinking I could buy this at Lowe’s (as listed on the O’Keefe’s site) but I couldn’t find it. I ran out for a week and my feet were killing me. I just got my order in the mail and my feet are nice and smooth. Buy it here on Amazon (I paid $10) or directly at O’Keefe’s for 6.99. One more thing, it does have sort of a film but to me this is good because I put it on it the morning and it lasts ALL day. It’s not greasy so you don’t pick up dirt on your feet after walking. You can put your sandals on almost instantly after applying and not worry about slipping.

Very dissapointed!

I normally don’t review products I purchase, but this has to be said. I suffer from severe Exima. I work in a kitchen evreyday, and constantly washing my hands causes my skin to crack and bleed! I purchased this item to hopefully sooth my dry skin…well the hot wax did wonders for my skin however, the machine is poorly made. The very first time I used this, the hot wax leaked out the bottom of the machine through what appear to be heat vents. I kept using it hoping the leaking would stop, and it didn’t. So I called the Homedics help line and got put on hold. I called them a total of three times and never got an answer. I can’t imagine the nightmare of trying to get this machine cleaned up enough in order to send it back to Homedics, and I can’t even get them on the phone so it looks like I am stuck with a machine that leaks wax all over my floor…..take my advice, spend your money on a more expensive machine. It will be worth it in the long run!

PAR-300 Complete Waste of Money

Sorry HoMedics, you’ve failed. This is the first review I’ve written. Like another user I bought this unit (HoMedics PAR-300) as a gift for my wife and the first time we used it THE WAX LEAKED OUT THE BOTTOM ALL OVER! I have tried on three different occasions to contact HoMedics Service to no avail. You’ve lost a customer and I will share my story with others.

ALWAYS read reviews before buying!

I had one of these for a couple years. When I bought it from Amazon, the negative reviews were mostly about the on/off light going out after a couple months – this didn’t concern me. I kept it on a timer so it would be melted by evening but not on 24/7, so when the light died it was no big deal. However, just recently it started leaking paraffin out the bottom. I emptied it to see where it could possibly leak, and found a plug in the bottom of the tub with an open seam around it. The paraffin came out the bottom through a vent hole and several screw holes that hold the base on. I sealed the plug with Goop, and hoped for the best. After a couple days it didn’t leak, but no longer got hot enough to melt all my paraffin.

I came here to shop for a new one, and lo and behold all kinds of people have been having the same leaking problem, but more than the dime size blob mine was leaking. I’m not going to wait until I come home to a paraffin flood.

So I ordered a much higher priced spa with much better ratings. For the relief it gives me for my arthritis, it will be worth every penny to pay for a more professional model that has a solid heating unit and no reports of leaking.

NOT FOR AMATEURS!!!

As a licensed esthetician, I am cringing reading the reviews of some of the users of this product.
“Applying and leaving on” “Applying 3 times a week” “Using as a daily exfoliator”
If your not going to seek the advice of your dermatologist or esthetician, please buy a book on Chemical Peels to understand how they work.
Applying more that once every 10 days will thin out your skin and will cause problems down the line. The whole point of “Peeling” is to clear away the old dead skin cells and allow new ones to surface. It takes your skin (depending on age) 20-42 days for brand-new skin cells to work their way up to the surface of the epidermis, if your constantly stripping your damaging your new skin cells. Patience is needed with peels and generally a series of 4-6 are needed depending on your expectations. Always apply spf of 30 or more afterward and before starting with this 50% lactic prime your skin a week before by using 2-5% glycolic wash. And PLEASE seek the advice of your friendly neighborhood dermatologist and/or esthetician before even attempting to peel.

**Oh and regardless of what the manufacturer claims it does not change the “size” of your pores, they may appear smaller because the chemical de-congests the follicle but if you naturally have big pores; this will not shrink them.

great results

i am an african american/native american woman with melasma and dark spots from different skin issues. i am a fair skinned woman so everything show on me. I tried the fade creams and finally coughed up money for tri-luma. on it’s own, it’s ok, but with this lactic acid peel it is FANTASTIC. i don’t have sensitive skin, so i use my peel 3 times a week, followed by the tri luma cream. i moisturize and stay out of the sun as much as i can. i have been using it for 3 weeks and my results are great. i would recommend this for people looking for a solution to their hyperpigmentation issues. my skin is very soft now and every week i notice a difference. i will use it for another 3 weeks and take a break. the peel smells kinda funny (it is sour milk smelling) but it is less harsh than the glycolic which i have used as well. i recommend it. for the price, you can’t beat it.

A Magnet for Attention.

I am shocked at how much attention this scent has gotten me- unwarranted, but, flattering attention at that. The only scent I can remotely compare Usher’s VIP to is “Grey Flannel”- it’s that unique. Whoever blended this definitely knows what smells right on a man who’s adopted/wants a sexier, more mature persona. A little goes a long way, so, try not to bathe in it and enjoy. Side Note: The bottle is strangely collectable..? Just thought I would say.

Subtle and refined fragrance that lasts all day

I’ve tried many different EDT’s over the years and can definitely say L’eau D’Issey is my absolute favorite. If you like Polo Sport, True Star By Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss For Men, or Curve By Liz Claiborne, you’ll probably like L’eau D’Issey.

It smells refined, youthful, and sophisticated, with a light citrus & woody spice scent that is very pleasing, not musky, overly sweet, or intrusive to other people’s olfactory nerves. I don’t like to douse myself in fragrance and be one of those people you can smell from across the room. A little goes a long way and understated elegance is the theme here, down to the attractive frosted glass bottle and minimalist packaging design. All I need is 2 or 3 small pumps in the morning before going to work, and I smell nice all day.

Because it is impossible to describe in words how this smells, and the fact that fragrances interact differently based on each user’s skin chemistry, you’ll have to experience it for yourself. Go to your local Sephora/drugstore/perfumery, rub some into your arm, and have a sniff.

For $50, not a bad investment in smelling nice. Based on past experience, 4.2 ounces lasts me a year or more.

An elite scent…

I’ve used this scent for almost a decade and I’ve never been disappointed in its ability to impress. Every time I hug a lady, there’s always compliments. It’s a wonderful thing. Scent/smell lingers on the mind and invokes the memory when revisited in the future and this will make her never forget. Therefore, you must use this scent wisely. =)

Whenever I’m asked what this scent is, I respond and they’re always baffled at my answer, mainly because they don’t know what language I’m answering in. French? Japanese? It always takes a little bit of explanation. Regardless, the looks on their faces when you explain says everything about the scent. It makes people daydream. Why would she want to know why a Japanese guy chose a French influence on his scent? She’s just thinking about how beautiful the scent is. Guaranteed to get you future hugs, unless you’re repulsive.

Bottom line, this is an exquisite scent. Not too brash or overpowering. Like a sexy breath of fresh air. Lingers for just as long as you need. 100% recommended if you want to get close with your companion.

Guys, Issey Miyake needs to be a part of your cologne arsenal. I was first introduced to Issey Miyake by a good lady friend of mine, and because I’m a big `Polo’ fan, I was a little nervous about trying something different. I had never experienced Issey Miyake before, but I took my lady friend’s word for it and ordered a bottle. Was I glad I did. I’ve received nothing but compliments when wearing it. It smells great. It’s cologne that you can wear every day. It’s masculine, but not too over powering; it’s casual, but very classy.

this stuff is awesome. it isn’t sticky or make your hair feel like cement. i get lasting style all day long, in fact, the longer it is in the better my hair looks. i LOVE all the woodys products, but the web is by far the best.

Great stuff for a non-sticky or hard gel look

My barber introduced me to this product (smaller size, and said something about Fibroin silk) a couple of years ago.

This product is really easy to use; just a TINY dab on your finger, rub your hands together vigorously to spread it out, and lightly apply to your hair in parts. Isn’t designed for super hold unless you use more, but it is easy to use, smells decent and is not sticky or hard at all once applied.

One month later, not any thicker

I purchased this item a month ago after reading several reviews online. The top of my head has very fine hair and thought this might help a little bit. However after religiously using it everyday for a month, I have not seen any change in the thickness or fullness of my hair. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, but it seems completely useless.

great product – huge price increase

I really like the L’Oreal Viv Pro for Men 2-in-1 Daily Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner for Fine/Thinning Hair, 13 ounces. However the price went from around $5 to over $11 and that is unreasonable, and I won’t buy it for that.
