Best Hold for a Jaw Clip

I used to wear jaw clips all the time when I had medium/long hair. I remember loving the look, but constantly had to redo it because of the slippage and loosened grip as the day went on. Since I cut my hair awhile ago, so this is my first time using them in several years.

I put the clip in once in the morning, and it stayed put the entire day! Not even any drooping or slanting to one side. The curved teeth also help it lie comfortably along the curvature of your head; not painful like the straight kind. Perfect!

My hair is currently at shoulder length and this 6cm works perfectly. They also have 4cm and 8cm available, so you can purchase the right size for your hair length. Will definitely pick up an 8cm once when my hair gets longer.

My only complaint is that these are made of plastic, and therefore, breaking them is inevitable. One of these clips broke this morning when I went to take it off my purse strap; I only had it for 2 weeks. But I am back to buy more. These clips have an inner set of teeth, which make the gripping more effective, but when you squeeze the clip to make sure all your hair is secure you can hear the inner teeth crack, so be careful. Oh and more than 2 colors to choose from would be nice. Overall, I wish they made these a bit more durable (either a stronger plastic, or even metal) since the effectiveness of the product is superb.

Worth a little extra

Scunci has indeed improved the hair clip with the “Evolution” line–it stays put holding a smaller amount of hair or thinner hair because there is a second set of teeth inside.
The only downside of purchasing these from Amazon is that you get no color choice, but since I haven’t seen the range of sizes Amazon has anywhere else, and the price is reasonable, it’s a gamble I’m willing to take.
